Who Are We Serving?

     Flashpoint Missions began assisting a children's home and church planting ministry in southern Nepal in early 2023. The ministry was founded in 1994 and has continued to proclaim the Gospel, even in the face of restrictive government policies limiting the propagation of Christianity. Volunteer teams completed the sanctuary and other various projects in the main church building in January 2024 and plans are now being finalized to start construction on a kitchen/fellowship hall addition to the existing building. 

Project:

    We have found the local church community, along with the young students in the seminary on the same property, to be very willing and eager to learn construction skills! So our main focus has shifted to equipping and empowering them to be the main labor force on this project. Our teams will consist of 5-6 construction workers who can lead and direct the project while also working alongside and training the Nepali Christians in construction techniques. Main focus for the September team will be completing whatever is still left of the foundation work (concrete) and then shifting into welding and erecting the steel columns, beams, and trusses for the building structure.
